Ricotta, Cherry and Orange Toast

1 piece of wholemeal bread (salt reduced)
1 1/2 tablespoons low fat ricotta cheese
1/2 cup preserved cherries (In juice)
1/2 teaspoon dried nutmeg
Zest of 1/2 an orange


  1. Toast the piece of wholegrain bread.
  2. Spread the toast with ricotta cheese.
  3. Dress the ricotta toast with the preserved cherries (you can slice these or leave them whole), and sprinkle with nutmeg and orange zest.
