Grilled figs with ricotta

Serves 4

Grilled fig dessert with whipped vanilla ricotta.

Ingredients

4 figs, quartered

100g ricotta cheese

½ teaspoon vanilla extract

1 tablespoon of honey

Cooking instructions

  1. Place figs on a tray under a hot grill. Cook until soft and juices emerge.
  2. While figs are cooking whip ricotta with vanilla extract until light and fluffy.
  3. Arrange cooked figs on plate. Place a dollop of ricotta on top. Drizzle with honey before serving.
