2 green apples

2 walnut halves

2 Tbsp sultanas

2 sprinkles of cinnamon

¼ cup water

2 Tbsp of natural reduced fat Greek yoghurt

  1. Wash and core the apples, using a corer.
  2. Cut slits in the skin of the apples, in any direction that looks decorative.
  3. Place a walnut half in the base of the apple and fill the cored apple with sultanas.
  4. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
  5. Place in a microwave-proof container with water and microwave for 5-7 minutes (depending on the strength of your microwave). Test if the apples are cooked by inserting a skewer or fork. Once past the skin, the apples should feel soft.
  6. Serve with a spoonful of Greek yoghurt. Use a spoon and fork to eat.
