mylife™ App with CGM assist will soon be available in Australia

Therapy management for people with diabetes is about to become even more convenient with the launch of mylife™ Assist*, the exciting new feature of the mylife™ YpsoPump® system.

With Dexcom G6 integration, mylife™ Assist will offer you real-time glucose monitoring and the use of CGM values for convenient bolus suggestion calculation – all via the mylife™ App. Users with an Android device will soon be able to download mylife™ App v 1.8 in the Google Play Store. Apple users will have access to mylife™ Assist a little later, via the Apple App store.

The mylife™ YpsoPump® and the Dexcom G6 will have a continuous and wireless connection with the mylife™ App. This app-based integration will bring up-to-date insulin and continuous glucose data to your smartphone to support therapy information decisions. You will also receive alerts for high and low glucose levels.

When updated and connected with a Dexcom G6, the mylife™ App will display your glucose values as transmitted every five minutes by the G6 sensor. Setup of the Dexcom G6 is easily accomplished within the mylife™ App, with the help of a step-by-step wizard, which minimises the need for additional training.

The mylife™ App will also support sharing of CGM data with followers, using the Dexcom Follow feature. Dexcom Follow, which is especially designed for caregivers, is coming soon to Australia with upcoming mylife™ App versions.

Finally, all Ypsomed customers choosing mylife™ Assist can rely on direct service and technical support for the Dexcom G6 system, along with the mylife™ Assist and YpsoPump® system, via Ypsomed’s existing 1800 support line that is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
