JCU researchers need your help with foot health

The James Cook University is asking Indigenous Health Workers to contribute to a research project around management of diabetes-related foot issues and complications.

The project is being led by Professor Jon Golledge with support from Benjamin Crowley from Tropical Health and Medicine at James Cook University.

They are sending out a survey to gather information from people living with diabetes. The results of the survey will help develop a management program for better care of people with diabetes-related foot issues.

Please send clients the survey

People who respond to the survey will also have the choice of having a follow-up phone interview to further discuss these issues.

If you’re working with anyone who might want to be involved, please send the survey to them. The survey is run through Qualtrics with the following link: http://bit.ly/PatientIMPACT.

If you have any questions or would like to discuss this opportunity in more detail, please contact us via email firstnationshealthunit@diabetesqld.org.au.
