Diabetes Queensland has a new face to support our state-wide campaign fundraising for diabetes research and to help Queenslanders living with all types of Diabetes.

Moya has left a gift in her Will. Find out more about Gifts in Wills.

One hundred year old Moya Sonnenburg, who lives on the Sunshine Coast, is an inspiration to us all. A yoga expert and dance enthusiast, Moya has put a spring in our step by coming forward to ask Queenslanders to leave a gift in their will in support of Diabetes Queensland.

Speaking in The Courier Mail newspaper, Moya revealed she was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes about 10 years ago. "I'm amazed that at 100 years old I've been asked to be the face of a campaign encouraging people to donate to Diabetes Queensland in their wills," she said.

"I want people with diabetes to live to be 100 like me."
