Health Professional Education Programs
brought to you by the NDSS
Diabetes Queensland provides a range of programs to
upskill Health Professionals to ensure Queenslanders living
with diabetes receive the very best education and support.
The National Diabetes Services Scheme subsidises the full cost
of these programs if they are delivered at your venue for groups of
10 or more. The full day program at our venue is $100 per person
and the two hour program at our venue is $20 per person, offering
some NDSS subsidy.

podiatrists, pharmacists, dietitians, exercise physiologists,
general practitioners and allied health professionals.

The Diabetes management for health
professionals - Webinar Series provides 6 hours of
Health Professional Education delivered in three two-hour
sessions. It is delivered by a Registered Nurse -
Credentialled Diabetes Educator (CDE) and Dietitian from Diabetes
Diabetes Update for Support Workers is a two-hour workshop for
personal care workers, assistants in nursing and other care
providers who support and care for people living with diabetes.

Diabetes Queensland's Activities and Camps Small Grants program
provides funding of up to $5,000 to organisations that deliver
