Great Ocean Road Trek 2021

The adventure of a lifetime

Trekking along the Great Ocean Walk is a life changing experience you will never forget

Lace up your hiking boots and join us for this seven day, 100km trek along the coastline of the Great Ocean Road. This is one of the most iconic long-distance walks in Australia. Set yourself a challenge for fun, fitness and fundraising.

Along the way you’ll get to explore diverse and phenomenal landscapes as you trek through lush rain forests, deserted beaches, and majestic cliff faces. Being struck by abundant local wildlife alongside awe inspiring views, you will be in for an adventure of a lifetime.

Best of all, by taking on the challenge, you will be helping people with diabetes live a healthier, happier life every step of the way – what could be more fulfilling?

“Reaching that finish line, I couldn’t wipe the smile off my face. All that hard training was worth it for the scenery and the accomplishment.” Jenny, 2019 participant.

Try the next best thing – imagine you’re really there

We understand the 100km trek in Victoria isn’t for everyone. Perhaps you can’t get the time off work or have too many commitments to travel interstate.

Don’t worry, you can try the next best thing – The Great Ocean Virtual Challenge for Diabetes.

All you have to do is complete 100km during March 2021. You can walk, run, cycle or swim – the choice is yours. And because it’s a virtual challenge, each kilometre you travel close to home will move you further along the iconic Great Ocean Walk.

The event is free to enter and there are great prizes up for grabs for the top fundraisers.
