If you want an excuse to get outdoors in 2017
then this is it.
Enjoy a weekend being guided
through Queensland's Lamington National Park, or travel south to
spend seven days exploring Victoria's Great Ocean Road by foot.
On Saturday 12 March Diabetes Queensland joined forces with
Bushwalking Queensland to take 26 participants along the Border
Track in the Lamington National Park and walk the gruelling 24km to
raise funds for an important cause.
Our team raised more than $10,000 with our top fundraisers for
the weekend being Mikael and Rob raising nearly $3,000.
This long but scenic trek took participants from Binna Burra to
O'Reilly's Rainforest Retreat trekking through the rainforest, over
creeks and along muddy paths with stunning views and incredible
