This live webinar is for people living with all types of diabetes.
This webinar will discuss how poor sleep can impact your body and diabetes management. It will delve into some basic science of what happens if we have prolonged disturbed sleep and how this links to insulin resistance, changes in hormones and eating patterns. A number of practical tips on nutrition and sleep hygiene will be provided as tools for helping to form healthy habits and in turn, better manage your diabetes.
Our diabetes education webinars are presented live via the Zoom platform by one of our health professionals. The webinar consists of a short presentation, and you will have the opportunity to ask questions at the end of the session.
