Diabetes Australia - Queensland offers a programs and services for health professionals who work in the diabetes community.  The programs are offered with support and funding from the NDSS. For more information on any of the services below, please click on the headings.


Diabetes Impact Symposium

A one-day event that brings together all health professionals,including diabetes educators, registered nurses and allied health workers who operate in the critical public health area of diabetes management. 


Blood Glucose Monitoring training

We offer a two-hour training and education session for healthcare support workers about blood glucose monitoring, which covers understanding diabetes and its complications, blood glucose testing procedures, abnormal results and more. 


Decoding Diabetes

A one-day educational program designed to provide health professionals with the latest information on diabetes, and best practice in diabetes management. The program is interactive and gives participants the opportunity to apply learned information through practical exercises.
