Diabetes - What Now?

The Diabetes - What now? program is for people with type 2 diabetes; in particular those who have been newly diagnosed or who have not had any diabetes education.

The sessions, delivered by a Diabetes Educator and a Dietitian, aim to provide you with an overview of:

  • What is diabetes?
  • Healthy eating
  • Physical activity
  • Diabetes medications and insulin
  • Blood glucose monitoring
  • Setting your own health goals
  • Your diabetes health care team.

Seesions are being held in Townsville between February and June 2017. To keep up to date with all of our events and programs please visit our What's On section.
