Know the score - Community Speakers presentation

Every day 60 Queenslanders are diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. Complications can include heart disease, stroke, kidney problems, blindness and amputation. The good news is type 2 diabetes can often be prevented or delayed.

Know the score is a FREE program for Queensland community groups and workplaces designed to raise awareness of type 2 diabetes across Queensland.

Delivered by trained volunteers, the presentation covers information about type 2 diabetes, the risk factors and related complications and ways the condition can often be prevented through healthy eating and physical activity.
